Certain communications (e.g., order confirmations, service notices) are transactional and cannot be opted out.

  1. Data Storage, Security, and Retention
  • Genetic data is stored separately from personal identifiers.
  • DNA samples are labeled only with unique kit codes. After analysis, samples are securely stored for up to 6 months and then destroyed.
  • Personal data is stored on encrypted servers with limited access.
  • We retain your data as long as you maintain an account or as required by law. Once no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymized.
  1. International Users

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States, where privacy protections may differ. We implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

  1. Research Program

From time to time, Evo DNA may conduct or collaborate on research. Participation is voluntary and requires your explicit opt-in consent. You may opt out at any time. Research uses de-identified, aggregated information unless otherwise consented.

  1. California & Other State Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to request access, deletion, and information about disclosures of your personal information.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure. Transmission of information is at your own risk. Evo DNA is not responsible for unauthorized access due to factors outside our control (e.g., device compromise, password misuse).
